RE: Where Are The Wannabe's Now?

We have been living in our fifth wheel since July, and we love it. House has been on the market since the end of August and as of last week we are under contract to close on October 24th. The buisiness is under contract and will be done by November 1st. Then we are headed south for the winter. Not sure where we are going or where we will end up, but thats the fun of it.

RE: 1 generator vs. 2 piggy backed

We just bought our first 2000 and then went for 2 weeks in Yellowstone, and have found that short of running the air conditioner, this one has done everything we have wanted to do. We will buy the second and the pigtail for it. I am so amazed at how quiet this generator is. Thanks to all who encouraged us to buy. the plus is I as the DW can unload, move and START it myself

RE: Stolen Montana

So sorry for your loss, These people sound like they were pretty determined if they didn't even lift the landing gear, and not sure if the brake thing would of stopped them if dragging the landing gear did not. Please buy the new trailer don't let some jerk (being extremely nice here) ruin it for you. And then just enjoy it may happen again it may not but I wouldn't let it stop me

RE: I let the wife drive home - pulling the fiver!

I started pulling ours last year. My biggest worry was damaging our trailer hubby said that what insurance is for. He was right. I pulled it from Green River Wyoming to West Yellowstone Montana that first time including pulling in for fuel, lunch stops, potty breaks, ect. even had to back it out of a parking lot. Only had one problem came around the corner at 60 to a herd of sheep in the middle of the road and was able to get it shut down. I haven't hooked up or unhooked yet but thats up and coming on my list. Oh and forgot to add that I love the 1 ton dually so much that after that trip sold my car and I drive the truck

RE: Leaving the television in the camper could....

We were told when we bought ours that the temp won't hurt it, but to allow it to warm up before turning it on if it has been cold due to condensation. The water and electronics don't mix

RE: wireless invisable fencing

We have the petsafe electronic fence which is wireless and love it. We have been using it on our Seppalla Siberian Husky for the last 18 months, After training he knows when the collar beeps he is at his boundry and goes no further. He has a very high hunting instinct and catches anything that comes within the area but he won't run through it, even if the deer (which he would love to hunt and ran through a barbed wire fence before we got this sytem and had to have 23 stitches in his legs)are where he can see them. After seeing ours both our daughter and son have bought the system for there dogs and have also worked for them. You can go to petsafe wireless fence and read up on it or pm if you have more questions. We also take this when we are traveling as the perimeter area is adjustable

RE: Were to camp in Yelowstone.

We like Indian Creek the first half of September but it does close on the 15th, Mammoth would likely be a little warmer that time of year for tent camping, do bring cloths for all weather conditions because you just never know could be 80 one day and snowing the next. Madison is a beautiful campground

RE: Outside shower, Quartzsite

Tripwire, we do have an enclosure for our outside shower so as not to scare the neighbors or the person driving by.

RE: Rear running lights on all night ??

I would think this would be hard on batteries, wiring and bulbs. If the kids were walking back and for between sites, restroom ect, I might could see it for safety reasons but not all night
